Albany is the oldest European settlement in WA. Stirling Range National Park is an excellent place for bushwalking with its mild weather. Other places of interest include the Gap and Natural Bridge, Blowholes, Whaleworld, Mt Clarence and Mt Melville with its wonderful views, and there are many excellent beaches. Dolphins, seals, sealions can often be spotted in this region by snorkelers and divers.
