Best of all it is just a pleasant 15 minute stroll along the waterfront and through the Domain Park into the City, or via the beautiful Botanic Gardens to the Opera House, the historic colonial Rocks area, the Museum of Contemporary Art, Circular Quay Harbour where you catch ferries to Taronga Zoo, Manly Beach and to the Darling Harbour Aquarium and Chinatown. The N.S.W. Art Gallery, State Library, Parliament House, City Aquatic & Sports Centre and harbourside swimming pool, St. Mary's Cathedral, Australian Museum, historic Government House, Queen Victoria shopping boutiques and other tourist and business areas as well as most major museums and galleries are all within easy walking distance.
